CEO Custom Cakes was started by Courtney with the intention of providing gourmet desserts to the Atlanta community. We specialize in creating upscale customized items for your event. We believe that special events deserve special desserts. We are moving your events from plain sheet cakes from your local grocery to spectacular desserts.
Courtney's background is very different than most expect it to be. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology from The University of Michigan and two Master's degrees, an MBA and a Master's degree in Healthcare Mgmt. Because she always loved to cook, it was easy to come back to her true passion. Courtney is a self-taught cake decorator/designer who prepares every order personally, using her keen attention to detail to assure clients that their orders will be perfect in every way.
Courtney has always loved to cook and bake, but really got into cake decorating because her husband did not comment on her first "decorated" cake. Courtney knew that Gerald's silence meant that the cake looked horrible. Because Courtney has a "I'll show you better than I can tell you" attitude, cake decorating became a top priority. Thanks to her husband's "silence", all of metro Atlanta gets to enjoy in Courtney's sweet delights and she has definitely shown her husband to never doubt her abilities again! :-P
